The Seller Process


1. Pre-Listing Phase

Before putting your house up for sale, there are a few crucial steps you need to take to maximize your potential selling price. An experienced agent will help you prepare your home for the open market, as well as establish the best listing price.


2. Going Live

Now that your house is prepped, staged, and priced, it's time to put it live on the market! During this period, you will need to be prepared for potential buyers visiting your house as well as make plans for open houses on the weekend.


3. Receiving Offers

Receiving an offer in a real estate transaction is exciting! However, there are many terms and conditions that are negotiable. You want someone in your corner to help you get the best deal.


4. Home Inspection

Most buyers will have home inspection of your property, and may request some repairs be done before closing. This is a negotiable process, look to your agent for guidance.


5. Appraisal

The buyer's lender will order an appraisal of the home. The appraiser will visit the property, and compare it to similar homes that have sold in the area. If they decide the home is properly priced, it's time to move forward and close!
